GrabJobs is an AI-powered recruitment platform that helps professionals discover jobs, automate applications, and manage their job search from a single place. The platform combines job discovery with application automation and candidate tracking to simplify the hiring experience for job seekers and employers.

Today, GrabJobs serves more than 50 million job seekers worldwide and supports hiring for over 20,000 companies. Its AI JobCopilot feature helps users streamline repetitive job search activities through intelligent matching, application automation, and workflow management across a growing ecosystem of hiring platforms.

Challenge

Job opportunities are distributed across a wide range of applicant tracking systems, including Greenhouse, Workable, Lever, BambooHR, SmartRecruiters, Jobvite, and Ashby.

Each platform uses different application workflows, field mappings, and submission requirements. Supporting job discovery at scale requires reliable data collection and a standardized way to automate application submissions.

Without a centralized automation framework, supporting new hiring platforms would require significant manual effort and ongoing maintenance.

Solution

A serverless automation platform was developed to support both job discovery and automated job-applying workflows. 

Job Discovery Infrastructure

Scrapers were built to collect jobs from multiple hiring platforms and store structured records in a centralized database. Collection workflows are scheduled to run at defined intervals throughout the day (via cronjob) to ensure newly published opportunities continuously flow into the system and remain available through the AI-powered matching system. 

Automated Application Engine

Platform-specific automation handlers were developed to navigate employer application forms, map user profile information, process resumes, and submit applications autonomously across all the supported ATS platforms. 

Serverless Processing Architecture

AWS Lambda executes application workflows. DynamoDB, S3, SQS, and other AWS services manage storage, messaging, and workflow processing. The architecture scales without requiring dedicated infrastructure.
